ADMT, real name Adam Taylor, has dropped ‘River’ in a major move that somehow tops its fantastic precursor ‘Demons’. While he has a powerful production ability and a total grasp of how to write and release a modern pop banger, the most powerful tool in ADMT’s arsenal is his proclivity for catchy melodies. They fill this track from the verses, to the chorus, to the bridge. With a voice not incomparable to Ed Sheeran, it’s a shame that an artist with the ability to blend soul, pop and R&B in such a smooth way isn’t as world dominating. Having said that, his relatable lyricism and songwriting ability should make their way to the mainstream soon enough. - Dan Peeke
